These terms govern every visit, reservation, and gaming session at JoySparkHere. By entering the venue or making a booking, you agree to the rules set out below.
Acceptance
Your Agreement with Us
These terms and conditions form a binding agreement between you and JoySparkHere, the operator of the luxury casino and hotel at 47 Gorge Road, Queenstown 9300.
- By entering the venue, making a reservation, or signing a registration card, you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms.
- All guests must be at least 20 years of age to enter the casino floor and must produce valid, government-issued photographic identification.
- We reserve the right to refuse entry, cancel reservations, or exclude any person from the venue at our absolute discretion.
- These terms may be updated from time to time. The version in force at the time of your visit applies.
100% Offline Nature
A Physical, Face-to-Face Experience
JoySparkHere is a fully offline venue. There is no online gaming, no remote accounts, and no virtual chip purchases. Every activity takes place in person at our brick-and-mortar address.
In-Person Verification
Identity and age are checked at the door by trained staff.
No Remote Play
Gaming, deposits, and withdrawals are handled only inside the venue.
On-Site Cage Services
All funds, chips, and credit services are managed at our secure cage.
Personal Hosts
Every booking and enquiry is handled by a dedicated concierge.
Gaming Rules
Fair Play & House Rules
All play at JoySparkHere is governed by the rules of each game, the New Zealand Gambling Act 2003, and our internal house policies. Staff decisions are final.
- Valid identification is required to purchase chips, open a credit line, or enter high-limit salons.
- Evening attire is required. Jackets are mandatory in the Salon Privé after 7 PM and Black Tie is encouraged for high-stakes events.
- Photography, recording, and mobile phone use are prohibited on the gaming floor and in private salons.
- Guests who appear intoxicated or disruptive will be asked to leave the gaming floor.
- Disputes over game outcomes are resolved by the pit boss or duty manager. Their decision is binding.
Reservations
Booking, Deposits & Cancellations
All reservations are confirmed in writing by our concierge team. A booking is not guaranteed until a deposit or guarantee has been received and acknowledged.
Confirmation
A reservation is final only after written confirmation and, where required, cleared deposit.
Deposits & Credit Lines
Deposits for suites, salons, and events are non-refundable within 48 hours of arrival unless otherwise agreed.
Cancellation & Modification
Cancellations made more than 14 days before arrival may be eligible for a partial refund. No-shows are charged in full.
Group & Event Bookings
Private events and group reservations are subject to bespoke contracts and may have separate cancellation terms.
Liability
Liability & Disclaimers
JoySparkHere operates to the highest standards of care. However, certain risks are inherent to hospitality, gaming, and travel, and our liability is limited as set out below.
- Valuables should be deposited in the in-room safe or the Grand Vault. We are not liable for cash, jewellery, or chips left unattended.
- We reserve the right to refuse to serve alcohol and to remove any guest whose behaviour may endanger others.
- We are not responsible for delays, cancellations, or changes caused by weather, transport disruption, or force majeure events.
- Our total liability for any single booking or visit is limited to the amount paid for that booking or visit, except where the law requires otherwise.
Conduct
Guest Conduct & Venue Rules
JoySparkHere is a refined environment. We expect all guests to conduct themselves with courtesy, discretion, and respect for others.
Harassment & Abuse
Abusive, discriminatory, or threatening behaviour towards staff or other guests is not tolerated.
Smoke-Free Policy
Smoking, including vaping, is only permitted in designated outdoor cigar terraces.
Dress & Entry
Appropriate attire is required at all times. Staff may refuse entry to guests not meeting the dress code.
Right of Removal
Management may remove any guest from the venue without refund or compensation where these rules are breached.
Governing Law & Contact
The Fine Print
These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any dispute arising from your visit, reservation, or membership will be resolved through the courts of New Zealand, unless both parties agree to mediation.
